life is too short

a coworker told me today that an undergrad classmate of hers had recently passed away. he was in his first year of law school. a brilliant mind and described by his peers as "very kind," and "a great person [that] everyone absolutely adored" - it's a tragedy that someone so wonderful could pass away so early.

life is just too short.

it's too short for regrets,

too short not to say what you mean,

too short to be angry and bitter,

too short to not take risks.

r.i.p. G.T. - i didn't personally know you but hearing about you today reminded me how important it is to LIVE the way i want. i'm sorry that you aren't able to achieve all the the things you wanted in this lifetime, but i'm sure you'll achieve them all and more in the next.
